Details of Achievements

Under child sponsorship program, ALIG is sponsoring the education of more than 125 children. Other than that it has trained more than 1500 women in stitching, embroidery and computer literacy. Under the health project, it is catering for 2634 adolescents (boys and Girls) in seven villages of east singhbhum district. Under vocational training program, it has reached more than 400 students and trained them in English and communication skills. Other than that it is also working closely with the government schools for English Leaning Enhancement program and targeting more than 1000 children in five schools. It has well equipped training center for women and girls for Stitching, embroidery, beautician and computer classes. It also has 9 resource centers, which is meant for the girls and boys between 12-19 years.

NA Overseas 2014-2015 358844 Rs Support for this program was received from VisualBalance, a company based in Singapore. The program was aimed at digital literacy of the beneficiaries. This program targeted girl students going to school and college and appraise them about the importance of Digital Literacy in todays world. The program taught basics of computer and also how to search about government schemes on the internet and benefit from it.
Education Department State 2015-2016 22755 Rs This program was run in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Sundarnagar, Jamshedpur for four months. It was to strengthen the students in English language. Total of 50 students from class X was targeted.
Education Department State 2016-2017 152860 Rs This program was run in 8 Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas of Purbi Singhbhum. Awareness was build among girls about the importance of career and subsequent plans after passing out from the school. Those who were weak in English were also given special classes to improve the language. More than 500 students participated in this program.
NA Overseas 2016-2017 338770 Rs This program was supported by Chances for Children International, program aimed at improving digital literacy among the semi urban and rural women. This initiative was to support government initiative of Digital India.

NA Overseas 2017-2018 3114158 Rs Health center is being run at Maharajganj to provide OPD services to the underprivileged population of the area. There is qualified doctors in the OPD for consultation. Patients could also get their tests done here.
NA Overseas 2017-2018 318066 Rs This grant is to help the girls and women become digitally literate and become well versed in spoken English. This project is in alignment with current government vision to make India digitally literate.
NA Overseas 2018-2019 5385523 Rs OPD facilities with a team of qualified doctors is being run at Maharajganj to provide medical support to the underprivileged section of the society. The patients could also get their tests done at the center.
NA Overseas 2018-2019 130123 Rs The purpose of the project is to make the women folks digitally literate and help improve their spoken English capacity. This program is exclusively for the women. Targeted section are those who are college going, house wives or those who have quit their studies. This program is in line with the vision of central government to make India digitally literate.
